FIELD: manufacture of nickel-cadmium storage cells. SUBSTANCE: invention deals with arrangement of electrodes for nickel-cadmium storage cells in which at least part of electrodes has fibrous structure. Positive and negative laminated electrodes with intermediate spacing of separation material alternate in process of laying into stack with formation of electrode core. Electrodes of same sign are interconnected by means of buses. Electrode core is compressed over entire area with compression of separation material placed between electrodes and stable fixing of shape. With this in mind electrode core is positioned between mechanical squeezing members. EFFECT: increased specific electric characteristics, prolonged service life of storage cells. 34 cl, 9 dwg
