SUBSTANCE: novelty is that carbon base bipolar electrode meant for electrochemical redox reactions in acid electrolyte is made in the form of electricity conducting barrier nonpenetrable for fluid media whose surface is at least partially made of woven or nonwoven electrode-active material of carbon fibers or yarn penetrable for fluid media; it also has partition non-penetrable for fluid media and made of composite material of array fabric in the form of tightly knitted or woven cloth of carbon fibers or yarn of carbon fibers whose voids are made water-tight by electricity conducting carbon-containing material at least partially filling array fabric voids. Carbon- containing electricity conducting material may be in-situ made glass-reinforced carbon produced by thermal conversion of source material array fabric pre-impregnated with polymerized thermosetting resin filled with carbon and/or graphite particles and/or fibers, or with thermally fused filler of thermoplastic resin and carbon and/or graphite particles and/or fibers.
