FIELD: lead-acid storage cells. SUBSTANCE: plate has active material incorporating lead fiber whose proportion amounts to 60-90% by weight of mentioned active material and fibers of cadmium-containing lead alloy which are uniformly stirred and interlaced; current storage and electricity conducting grid in combination with mentioned active material; lip for electrical interconnection of plates which is electrically connected to mentioned grid and locked thereon in position. In addition, plate manufacturing process is described; mentioned process includes steps in which lead and lead-alloy fibers are cut into short pieces and impregnated with adhesive solution so as to uniformly distribute them in space relative to each other by stirring them.
