FIELD: sewage de-ionization and purification systems. SUBSTANCE: proposed device has de- ionization and each cell has two different electrodes. Electrode of first type is made from absorbing material at huge surface which is manufactured from resorcin, formaldehyde, carbon reinforcing filler, catalyst and products of their interaction in carbonized form. Electrode of second type is made from material such as carbon cloth or carbon felt. Each de- ionization cell is provided with electrode of first type which is adjacent to electrode of second type; adjacent cells has no common electrodes or both types. Electrode of first type is made by hardening of polymerized mixture of resorcin, formaldehyde and carbon reinforcing filler supplied in form of carbon fibers, carbon felt or cellulose at adjustable temperature and time; then product is subjected to annealing for carbonization of electrode. EFFECT: enhanced operational efficiency due to reliable electric contact between electrodes. 60 cl, 10 dwg, 2 tbl
