FIELD: space engineering; space antenna reflectors built around large rod structures. SUBSTANCE: reflector has central assembly, power ring with hinged rods coupled through their ends with drive-- mounting posts, supporting lobes hinged to posts and engageable with central assembly, and net sheet secured on members controlling profile of reflector effective surface. Reflector is provided with taut struts and levers hinged to posts which are built of telescopic sections. Taut strut and lever are joined together through axis of revolution, respective choice of lengths being adhered to. Rectangular supporting lobes are hinged to central assembly. Members controlling profile of reflector effective surface protrude above supporting lobes and are joined to net sheet. Restricting band is fitted above each supporting lobe to protect net sheet against unwanted displacement; drives function to draw out telescopic sections of posts. EFFECT: simplified design, reduced mass and size due to smaller number of parts and their movable links, enhanced packing density of reflector for shipment. 4 cl, 16 dwg
