FIELD: space engineering; space antenna reflectors.
SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in proposed reflector characterized in similar precision of shapes throughout its entire working surface maintained without increasing its mass are supporting network secured at nodal points on radial supporting lobes and over perimeter on power ring, as well as network that shapes working surface and is secured over perimeter on opposing end of power ring. These networks are coupled through parallel members working in tension.
EFFECT: simplified design, facilitated assembly procedure.
