FIELD: mineral underground mining; applicable in powered support of breakage faces. SUBSTANCE: powered support unit includes roofing and base on which hydraulic props are installed in spherical bearings for inclination within working range of angles. Prop rod ears hinged with roofing, and cylinders have symmetrically located pins. Pins are located for contact in folding of hydraulic props with curved projection made on base. Lower edge of each curved projection is located for contact with hydraulic prop pin with angle of its inclination corresponding to lower boundary of working range. Base has recesses for receiving and free longitudinal motion in them of hydraulic props disconnected from roofing and inclined below low boundary of working range. EFFECT: reliable locking of hydraulic props in support unit and convenience in mounting-dismantling of hydraulic props. 3 dwg
