FIELD: measurement technology. SUBSTANCE: invention can find use in various branches of industry to measure volume flow rate and velocity profile of flow of liquid. Correlation method of measurement of volume flow rate of liquid includes placement of M pairs of converters responding to inhomogeneities of parameters of flow of liquid in sections of flow rate measurement section spaced apart by distance L, determination of cross correlation functions Rjj(τ) of signals of each j-th pair of converters where j∈{1,2,...,M}, establishment of flow velocity of liquid uj = L/τmj in M points by position τmj of maximum Rjj(τ), of cross correlation functions, reconstruction of velocity profile of flow of liquid u(S), by approximation by measured values of velocity uj, where S is section area of flow rate measurement section, and determination of value of volume flow rate of liquid by found velocity profile u(S) of flow of liquid. There is also proposed another correlation method and facility for correlation measurement of volume flow rate of liquid.
