FIELD: thermochemical measurements. SUBSTANCE: procedure consists in heating of examined sample and standard and in measurement of time dependencies of sample mass and temperature difference of differential thermal analysis. Areas of peaks of differential thermal analysis and general thermal effects corresponding to them are established for series of samples of examined material and excess energy is computed as average value of differences of general thermal effects related to sample masses and of thermal effects of oxidation reaction related to sample masses too. EFFECT: diminished error in establishment of thermal effects with use of differential thermal analysis. 1 tbl
