FIELD: fiber- optical communication lines. SUBSTANCE: multichannel facility includes set of polymer waveguide Mach-Zehnder interferometers each carrying two 50% x 50% directed optical couplers, two input and two output ports and two lattices with equal period located in arms of interferometer and tuned to frequency of corresponding light signal. Lattices show sinusoid-modulated amplitude with period D and minimum in center of lattice and length over 1.46D and under 1.5D. Lattices can be realized in the form of spatial modulation of refractive index of polymer material along direction of light propagation. This approach ensures generation of spectrum of rectangular form and possibility of demultiplexing and multiplexing of optical channels in dense high- speed multichannel fiber optical communication lines with distance of 50-200 GHz between channels.
