FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to abrasive machining and it can be used in manufacture of high-porosity abrasive tools. It contains fused corundum grains, ceramic binder and particles of abrasive refractory filler. The latter are made of material adhesively inactive to ceramic binder and have equal size and shape with abrasive grains. Ratio of amount of filler particles to amount of abrasive grains is within 0.10 and 0.15. Such design makes it possible to preserve strength and porosity of tool within preset structure, increases pore space between abrasive grains on working surface of tool in process of grinding and improves uniformity and homogeneity of structure of tool in manufacture.
