FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of abrasive tools of ceramic binders with fine-count-structures. Abrasive mass includes the mix of abrasive grains varying in size from 60-160 mcm and 160-420 mcm. Note here that volume content of abrasive grains of smaller grain size makes 5-100% of volume content of larger grain size grains. Filler represents the mix of hollow spherical particles of aluminium silicate varying in size from 85 mcm to 560 mcm in amount of 5-100 vol. % of larger grain size abrasive grains.
EFFECT: increased amount of hard refractory grains facilitates crystallisation of binder to form shorter bridges between abrasive grains.
