FIELD: metallurgy of casting production. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to development of composition of heat-resistant cast iron for molded pieces working under conditions of high temperatures. Cast iron containing carbon, manganese, chrome, sulfur, phosphorus and iron and modified in form with ferrosilicomagnesium comprises additionally in the following ratio of components, wt. -%: carbon, 2.5-3.2; silicon, 4.4-51; manganese, up to 0.4; chrome, up to 0.1; sulfur, up to 0.025; phosphorus, up to 0.1; magnesium, 0.03-0.06; iron, the balance. Inventions provides the enhancement of mechanical properties, heat-resistance and exclusion of "nonmetallic inclusions" in cast iron as "refining foam" and as "black spots" of magnesium oxides and sulfides forming at upper parts of ingot. EFFECT: enhanced and valuable properties of cast iron. 2 tbl
