FIELD: tubular mats from elastomeric material in form of extruded product. SUBSTANCE: mat has, at least, the first and second end faces located perpendicular or at angle to direction of extrusion and also many pipes (2) located between both end faces parallel to direction of extrusion. At least, a part of pipes (2) is closed with formation in each pipe of closed air column. Pipe lock (3) forms integral elastomeric unit together with tubular mat (1). Method of manufacture of tubular mat includes the following operations: after extrusion, pipes are compressed with help of pressing-down roller provided with pins over its periphery, particularly, with formation of grooves (5) and shutoff connectors (6), and then, product is subjected to vulcanization. Technical result of claimed invention consists in manufacture of tubular mat with complete exclusion of pollutants and water penetration to product due to improved flexible properties of product with simultaneous increase of service life under dynamic continuous loading. In addition, method is provided for manufacture of tubular mat with reliable and economical locking of pipes. EFFECT: improved design. 16 cl, 6 dwg
