FIELD: mechanical engineering; radial engines. SUBSTANCE: proposed engine is of split design consisting of two case-cylinders arranged cross-wisely. Each case-cylinder accommodates solid rod-piston. Case-cylinders are closed by covers at both sides secured by clamps. Engine is made as independent module with possibility of using in any necessary number in power unit. Standardized reduction gear can be installed on power unit. Crankshaft of engine with splined sections at ends is installed in two antifriction bearings. Paired eccentric with eccentricity of different directions is fitted on crankpin of crankshaft on split sliding bearing. Two counterweights are installed on eccentric in additional to counterweight of power mechanism. EFFECT: provision two-stroke radial modular internal combustion engine with eccentric-type power mechanism unified with four-stroke modular radial engine. 19 cl, 1 tbl, 16 dwg
