FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: converter comprises at least two eccentrics of different diameters and same eccentricity. The eccentrics are set one inside the other. The smaller eccentric is secured to the rotation shaft and represents the axle for the larger eccentric pivotally connected with the slide. According to the other version, the converter comprises eccentric whose axle of rotation is the pin of the crankshaft shifted with respect to the axis of rotation of the crankshaft by the value of eccentricity of the eccentric. The eccentric is pivotally connected with the slide. According to both of the versions, the converter is additionally has controlled locking device made for permitting blocking reciprocation allowing the shaft to rotate.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
