FIELD: power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention may be used in heat-exchange devices of regenerative circuits, heat supply systems of steam turbines intended for water heating due to heat transferred to water in process of steam condensation on pipes of heat exchange surface. Vertical heater comprises lower distribution chamber with nozzles for inlet and outlet of heated water, body with nozzles for steam inlet, steam-air mixture and steam condensate outlet, pipe system with guide partitions, at the same time in lower part of body above condensate level, box is installed in body with first stage heat exchange surface pipes in it; and having perforated bottom, and air exhaust nozzle is attached to one of side walls of box, besides at the outlet of steam from upper part of pipe system, there is a perforated header, besides box and perforated header are connected to each other by means of movable pipe.

EFFECT: improved efficiency of heater operation due to reduced amount of steam in exhausted steam-air mixture.
