Abstract RU 2215977 C2

FIELD: pyrotechnic aids, technical tests of protective masks. SUBSTANCE: smoke cartridge has case with percussion cap, irritant and heat and gas generating charge comprising pyrotechnic composition mixed with irritant and coming in the form of single channel grain. Proportion of masses of pyrotechnic composition and irritant is from 1.1 to 3.0. Diaphragm setting unit with diaphragming degree of burning surface of channel grain from 5 to 50 is put on channel grain. Heat and gas generating charge comprising pyrotechnic composition and irritant can come in the form of individual channel grains put one on another, irritant grain being placed on grain of pyrotechnic composition. Cartridge ensures needed output and required size of particles of irritant aerosol and prevents anomalous burning, emergence of open flame and outburst of particles of burning mass at outlet from cartridge.
