FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to weapons, namely to a method of producing a chemical source of optical interference. Method of producing a chemical source of combined optical interference, in which pyrotechnic plate elements of specified dimensions are placed in a sleeve, which consist of an effect-forming composition based on red phosphorus, which is deposited on a substrate. Said elements are stacked in pre-set sizes. Gauze cuff is applied on the long ends of the stack of elements on one side and coated with an inflammable composition based on flammable energetic substances in the form of suspension in 5% solution of fluoroplastic F-42 in acetone. Long ends of the stack are first coated with the above composition, and then the gauze cuff is coated with the same composition once more.
EFFECT: excluding non-ignition or incomplete combustion of pyrotechnic plate elements.
