FIELD: medicine, pediatrics, neonatology. SUBSTANCE: the present method deals with predicting bacterial infection in neonatals. One should determine quantitative viscous characteristics of vascular-thrombocytic and coagulative link of hemostasis system - intensity for spontaneous thrombocytic aggregation Ar, reaction period r, time for developing clot's fibrin-thrombocytic structure T, fibrin- thrombocytic blood constant AM, and at values of Ar being below 4 relative units, r - below 3 min, T - below 30 min, AM - below 600 relative units one should predict the development of bacterial complications. The method enables to provide higher accuracy, sensitivity, specificity and simplification of the method to predict bacterial complications in premature neonatals with intracranial hemorrhages. EFFECT: higher efficiency of prediction. 1 dwg, 1 ex
