FIELD: electron-optic engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has lens with image converter disposed on its optical axis and provided with white-emitting screen phosphor; color modulator in the form of disk with RGB filters fixed on motor shaft perpendicular to optical axis of lens; and ocular. Beam splitter positioned in front of image converter is optically coupled with fundamental wavelength radiation source in respective bands of spectrum. Disk with RGB filters is installed on rear end of image converter screen; fundamental wavelength radiation sources are turned on in respective bands of spectrum by means of radiation-source switching unit in response to optocoupler signals while disk with RGB filters is revolving.
