SUBSTANCE: proposed carbon dioxide waveguide laser provided with U-shaped collapsible resonator affording convergence of channel axes and reduction of passive section of double-channel laser resonator has device for adjusting split and high-reflection mirrors; this device has two hollow mirror holders. Each hollow mirror holder has two necks (deforming neck and shielding one). Adjusting part provided between necks mounts three adjusting screws resting on butt-end flange of laser and spaced apart through angles. Side surfaces of both adjusting parts of hollow mirror holders are beveled and disposed level with mirrors mounted in opposition on flats. EFFECT: reduced energy loss at turning end of laser thereby enhancing its radiation power. 1 cl, 6 dwg
