FIELD: separation of metal-rich adsorbent particles from weaker suspension or leaching solution. SUBSTANCE: separator has screen and stirrer. Screen constitutes a cylinder opened at the top and closed at the bottom arranged along vertical axis of tank containing suspension. Opened screen top is positioned higher than level of suspension surface in tank. Stirrer is coaxially positioned in screen and provided with blades extended above the suspension surface level. Separator contains a housing rigidly attached to radial outer edges of stirrer blades in such a way as to enclose blades to greater part of their height. Housing has at least one opening to discharge suspension located above the full suspension level. Separator additionally has driving means, driving shaft coupled with the latter, and means connecting driving shaft to stirrer. Stirrer is fit to direct suspension onto the screen upwards within the housing to outlet opening. EFFECT: improved design of apparatus.
