FIELD: quartz-crystal oscillators using automatic gain control. SUBSTANCE: quartz-crystal controlled oscillator has amplifier, means for detecting amplifier output signal, means for capacitive coupling between amplifier output and detection means, means for filtering low frequencies, feedback circuit for connecting dc signal arriving from low-frequency filtering means to amplifier current supply for controlling amplitude level at amplifier output to attain pre-selected input power and to limit power consumption upon oscillator starting, as well as to supply signal affording maximal current through amplifier for amplifier current supply during starting so as to attain feedback gain and induce oscillations in amplifier. EFFECT: provision for in-service input power control and frequency correction including changes due to process and temperature variations. 14 cl, 4 dwg
