FIELD: controlling power in discontinuous transmission mode of direct communication line. SUBSTANCE: method involves generation and transmission of command for executing direct power control and execution of this command in mobile communication system. According to proposed method power control command is executed basing on frame received that includes plurality of time spaces, each incorporating power control bits. Power control bit energy to noise energy ratio is obtained and specified by ratio of accumulated power control bit energy in time spaces of direct frame to noise energy accumulated in direct-frame time spaces; command for controlling power basing on ratio of accumulated energy of traffic character bits to accumulated power control bit energy is generated when power control bit to noise ratio obtained is adequate.
