FIELD: processing of packaged data for mobile communication system. SUBSTANCE: base station has a receiver of information on the channel statute from the mobile station for the private line; controller of additional channel transmission rate of the mobile station in accordance with the information on the channel statute, transmitter of the additional channel for transmission of data to the mobile station at the byte transmission rate determined by the controller of additional channel transmission, and a rate indicator transmitter for formation of the rate indicator containing information on a definite rate of byte transmission and transmission of the formed rate indicator to the mobile station. The mobile station has a channel statute meter for determination of the power of the signal received via the pilot-signal channel for measurement of the channel statute, transmitter of information on the channel statute for formation of information on the channel statute in accordance with the measured channel statute and transmission of information on the channel statute to the base station, and a receiver of the additional channel for determination of the transmission rate of bytes transmitted at a variable rate from the base station, and reception of data at a definite byte transmission rate.
