FIELD: ammonia production. SUBSTANCE: method of ammonia production from hydrocarbon materials, steam and air includes compression and purification of hydrocarbon materials from sulfur compounds, steam and main steam-air catalytic conversion of hydrocarbon materials, conversion of carbon monoxide, cleaning of nitrogen-hydrogen mixture from oxygen-containing compounds, compression, ammonia synthesis in closed cycle. In this case, a portion of air in amount of 0.42-0.0836 of all air amount together with a portion of hydrocarbon materials and steam are directed for additional steam-air catalytic conversion of hydrocarbon materials, and obtained mixture is directed for main steam-air catalytic conversion of hydrocarbon materials. Heat of gases after main steam-air catalytic conversion of hydrocarbon materials is used for heating of gases coming for this conversion.
