FIELD: extraction of valuable substances from vegetable materials by action of SHF energy on them. SUBSTANCE: process of extraction of useful substances from vegetable materials with use of SHF energy includes extraction of substances with steam of water contained in vegetable materials which is heated by energy of SHF radiation. Vegetable material is loaded into dielectric chamber in which vegetable material is neither mixed nor crushed and preserves its isotropism and integrity of capillaries. Dielectric chamber is placed into cylindrical dielectric container positioned horizontally and loaded with vegetable material beforehand. Chamber revolves with speed of 2 to 10 rpm. Vegetable material is irradiated with the help of antenna system with SHF radiation pattern with which electric field is directed parallel to axis of chamber. EFFECT: raised output of useful substances, obtainment of high-quality products thanks to use of SHF energy. 3 dwg
