FIELD: pipe line transport. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes radiation of electromagnetic oscillations inside or outside pipe line whose cavity is hermetically isolated from space outside pipe line and reception of these oscillations on opposite side relative to pipe line wall; during reception of electromagnetic oscillations, data and/or control signals are formed which correspond to electromagnetic oscillations; high-frequency electromagnetic oscillations are received in bursts in form of coded pulse sequences at distance not exceeding 100 m from pipe line fittings forming radioparent slot between pipe line cavity and space outside pipe line at frequency no less than 1 kHz. Proposed method makes it possible to control tools located inside pipe line and perform data exchange in zones presenting danger of explosion.
