METHOD FOR PRODUCING OF BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE FOOD ADDITIVE Russian patent published in 2003 - IPC

Abstract RU 2217010 C2

FIELD: biotechnology, may be used in food-processing industry, medicine, perfume, cosmetics, agriculture, zoo management, as well as in domestic animal feeding. SUBSTANCE: method involves preparing reaction mixture composed of yeast mass in the form of pure yeast culture, with initial yeast concentration in reaction mixture of at least 17% by weight of dry substance, and inducers composed of seed autolysate and sodium chloride; providing two-staged autolysis with two stages of equal duration effectuated at the same temperature of up to 50 C, each stage being composed of two parts, first part of each stage being carried out at increased pressure until stopping of foam generation process and second part of each stage being carried out under vacuum conditions; continuing first stage until amino nitrogen content is at least 1.5% by weight of dry substance and continuing second stage until amino nitrogen content is 2% by weight of dry substance; before starting of second stage, adding pure yeast culture into reactor until yeast concentration is at least 21% by weight of dry substance and increasing sodium chloride content; upon completion of second autolysis stage, withdrawing seed autolysate and providing two-staged denucleotization under vacuum, with following sterilization procedure; if necessary, drying resultant biologically active food additive. EFFECT: microbiologically pure process, provision for keeping of amino acid and vitamin yield, improved organoleptical and therapeutic properties of product. 2 cl, 2 tbl, 2 ex
