SUBSTANCE: invention relates to sulfonamide compound of the formula (I) eliciting effect that inhibits activity of matrix metalloproteinase-13 and aglycanase wherein R1 is NHOH; R2 is group -A- R6 wherein A is C1-C6-alkylene; R6 group of the formula (II) wherein X is group -N(R10)-; R7 and R8 are similar or different and mean hydrogen atom, C1-C6-alkyl, COOH, lower alkoxy-group, halogen atom, phenyl; or R7 and R8 in common with carbon atom to which they are bound form unsaturated C3-C7-ring, aryl-C6-C10, heteroaryl-C5-C7 comprising 1 or 2 ring nitrogen or sulfur atoms; R10 is hydrogen atom, C1-6-alkyl; R3 is hydrogen atom, C1-6-alkyl possibly substituted with halogen atom, phenyl, in turn, optionally substituted with halogen atom, or alkynyl-C3-10; R4 is phenylene; R5 is C1-6-alkyl optionally substituted with at least one halogen atom, 5- or 6-membered heteroaryl comprising 1 or 2 nitrogen atoms, phenyl optionally substituted with at least one halogen atom.
