FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; production of stampings for wheel disks from aluminum deformable hardenable by heat treatment. SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes semi-continuous casting of ingots at introduction of master alloy bar: aluminum-titanium-boron, homogenization, heating cast ingots, deformation, hardening and aging. Semi-continuous casting is performed at level of metal in crystallizer equal to 35-75 mm and rate of casting is determined from the following formula: Vc = 80±(0,05÷0,260).d, where Vc is rate of casting, mm/min; d is diameter of ingot, mm. Rate of introducing master alloy bar is determined by the following formula: Vr.input=(0.8 to 1.35).(0.005P-0.03), where Vr.input is rate of introducing master alloy bar, m/min; P is consumption of metal, kg/min. Time of holding the stampings at heat for hardening is determined by the following formula: τ=0.48S+(5.77+k), where τ is holding time, min; S is thickness of stamping, mm; k is coefficient depending on content of silicon (Si) in alloy. At (Si) = (0.5 to 1.1), k = 2 to 4. At Si≥1,1, k = 5. Proposed method makes it possible to improve quality of cast blanks excluding their machining and to increase yield by 4 to 6 reducing power requirements by 7 to 9%.
