FIELD: testing instruments for effect of air shock waves realized at various distances in case of high-power explosions. SUBSTANCE: gear includes shock tube with open and closed butts for placement of test object, source of shock wave, shield to dampen shock waves coming in the form of flexible members anchored vertically and horizontally on open butt of shock tube. Shield to dampen shock waves is additionally fitted with dampers coming in the form of rectangular sheets shutting off cross-section of shock tube and mounted on flexible horizontal members for turn relative to them outside of shock tube. Each upper damper shuts off part of surface of next lower damper and longitudinal member making it heavier is made at bottom of each damper. Sail linked by means of slings passing through ears placed in pairs at level or below unattached edges of dampers with ends of heavy longitudinal members can be installed at specified distance from open butt of shock tube in path of air shock wave. EFFECT: tests of objects by direct action of air shock wave with parameters close to parameters of high-power explosion at various distances. 3 cl, 8 dwg
