FIELD: technical diagnostics, nondestructive inspection, strength testing of large-size structures. SUBSTANCE: system incorporates several channels, each channel includes acoustic converter, preamplifier, filter, key amplifier, comparator, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, signal processor, interface, on-line storage and control device. Key amplifier is programmable. Control device is built to send command for rise of operation threshold which is set across input of comparator by means of digital-to-analog converter. Channels are connected to local network through interface. Use of built-in simulator of signals of acoustic emission makes it feasible to define automatically dimensions of localization zones that is necessary while testing objects of complex shape. EFFECT: expanded region of tests of lengthy objects with simultaneous rise in accuracy of flaw localization. 3 dwg
