FIELD: nondestructive testing, strength tests of structures. SUBSTANCE: multichannel acoustic emission device to test articles includes 1...n units each including four measurement channels composed of acoustic converter, pre-amplifier, filter, peak detector whose output is connected to inverting input of comparator connected in series, digital-to-analog converter whose output is linked to noninverting input of comparator. Device also has channel switch, master amplifier, analog-to- digital converter, on-line storage whose output is connected to first input of interface connected in series. Four inputs of channel switch are connected to outputs of channel filters and inputs of peak detectors of corresponding channels and inputs of digital-to- analog converters of four channels of unit are tied together and are linked to first input of interface. Outputs of comparators of each channel are connected to inputs of timer whose output is linked to second input of storage. Second output of interface is connected to third input of timer and third output of it is linked to bus of computer. EFFECT: increased precision of determination of coordinates of developing flaws. 1 dwg
