FIELD: systems for automatically controlling pressure of aggressive fluids such as chlorine gas and converting high pressure to stable low pressure (lower than atmospheric one), possibly sustaining pressure in predetermined range in systems for water preparation and purification, in other branches, for example in chemical industry branch. SUBSTANCE: regulator includes cut-off valve whose clamping member is in the form of two discs secured to pusher. Setting member is in the form of pneumatic chamber arranged in under-membrane portion of housing that is communicated with atmosphere. Sensitive member is provided with safety washers and it has opening in which safety valve is placed coaxially relative to pusher. Safety valve is in the form of sleeve and spring-loaded rod with closing member. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy and reliability of automatic pressure control of aggressive gases due to constant effort of forcing cut-off valve to seat during operation at any gas flowrate, prevention of membrane rupture. 2 cl, 1 dwg
