FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: high-frequency multichannel hydroacoustic antenna, having circular active elements placed in a row, which are symmetric relative the central longitudinal axis, having a protective coating and attached to the back surface with a base which repeats the shape of their inner surface, which is made in form of a set of solid piezoceramic rings having electrodes on the outer and inner surfaces and unbound with each other on the ends by rubber spacers. Each circular active element is a segment of a solid piezoceramic ring beyond which the inner and outer surface is acoustically screened by a layer of acoustically non-transparent polymer. The supporting base is in form of a metal cylinder attached to the back surface of the circular active elements through a layer of acoustically transparent polymer, and outside with the back side of the piezoceramic rings through a layer of acoustically non-transparent polymer. The protective coating is in form of an elastic watertight jacket, and there is an acoustically transparent layer between the outer surface of the circular active elements and the elastic watertight jacket.
EFFECT: simple antenna design, high manufacturability thereof, while maintaining high efficiency, and possibility of controlling the width of the sector directional characteristics of channels of the antenna.
