FIELD: systems for cooling milk, preferably in farms. SUBSTANCE: plant includes arranged successively and connected through vacuum milk duct with refrigeration machine air-milk mixture separator, heat exchanger, accumulation reservoir. Heat exchanger has developed heat exchange surface as its walls are in the form of rows of annular protrusions and discs mounted on drive shaft and placed in gaps between said protrusions. In protrusions there are ducts for passing cooling agent; said ducts are communicated with cold source. Under lower disc there is milk collector communicated with accumulation reservoir. Invention provides stable quality of milk due to prevention of sourish flavor, of water evaporation from milk, elimination of milk odors possibly caused by milking process.
