FIELD: agricultural production. SUBSTANCE: apparatus has heat-exchanger, milk pipeline extending through heat-exchanger, artificial cold source and underground vessel containing cold-accumulating substance. Cold source and vessel are connected to heat- exchanger through pipes. Vessel is divided into three cavities. Middle cavity is filled with high heat capacity material. Cooled parts of coolant pipelines are positioned in two outer cavities. Each pipeline defines closed circulation contour. Heat-exchanger is divided into two sequentially arranged portions. Pipelines are connected to each said portion. Heat pipes are arranged around vessel and in middle cavity. Apparatus allows milk quality to be retained and may be used in farms and cattle camps. EFFECT: increased efficiency, reduced metal usage and decreased expenses for cooling process. 4 cl, 1 dwg
