FIELD: chemical industry. SUBSTANCE: invention presents the material for sorption of phosphatic and metal impurities from a hydrocarbonaceous stream and a method of the material manufacture. The material, that contains aluminum oxide and rather small amounts of calcium oxide and magnesium oxide, is prepare using the method, according to which the components with the small contents (of the oxides) or their predecessors are dispersing in a gel-like sol of hydrated aluminum oxide (such as a boehmite).
