FIELD: metallurgy, possibly heating and drying lining of metallurgical ladles. SUBSTANCE: installation includes support for horizontally placing ladle and cover with burner. Coaxially relative to lengthwise axis of ladle smoke-deflecting apparatus is mounted in cover. Said apparatus has chamber with nozzles and annular cavity embracing chamber. Nozzles are oriented in direction from position of end surface of ladle. Annular cavity is communicated with gas bleeder tract in which fan is arranged. Gas mixture is fed into burner and it is ignited. Combustion products are sucked-off from ladle along its axis in the result of fluidic ejection created by air flow emitted from nozzles. In inner space of ladle gases are uniformly moved and combustion products are agitated by means of air. It lowers fuel consumption and temperature of combustion products in smoke-deflecting apparatus. EFFECT: improved design providing increased strength of cover, reduced temperature of combustion products and fuel consumption. 1 dwg
