FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, possibly heating and drying lining of metallurgical ladles. SUBSTANCE: apparatus includes support for horizontally arranged ladle; vertically mounted lid; gas outlet and carriage. Burner is arranged in lid. Additional carriage is mounted on above mentioned carriage with possibility of reciprocation motion. Lid is mounted on first carriage; burner is arranged in additional carriage. It provides possibility for melting crusts of previous melting in zones of arranging in ladle openings for blowing through and for steel discharging. Lid has groove for draining melt crusts; said groove is arranged in front of end surface of ladle in lower part of lid. Receptacle for melt is placed under said groove. EFFECT: enhanced quality of heating lining, lowered consumption of fuel, improved operational reliability. 2 cl, 1 dwg
