FIELD: food industry. SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the development of alcoholic drink. Alcoholic drink contains biologically active components, ethyl alcohol and water. Method involves using tannin-containing bark extract and silver ions as biologically active substance taken in the following ratio of components, wt.-%: tannin- - containing bark extract (as measured for tannins), 15, not less; silver, 2 x 10-5, not above; ethyl alcohol, 11.5; water, the balance. Tannin- -containing substance is poured with 40-45% aqueous solution of ethyl alcohol, mixture is heated using reflux condenser up to 40-50 C for 1-2 h. Liquid phase is separated, alcohol content in this phase is brought about to 11.5%, soluble silver compound is added up to content of silver ions in product 2 x 10-5 wt.-%, not above, packaged into vessel and closed hermetically. Ascorbic acid and/or wild rose extract can be used before silver addition up to attainment of pH value from 4.4 to 6.4. Proposed invention provides preparing drink simulating taste and aroma of the known drink of prolonged exposure - "Starka" but with reduced content of ethyl alcohol.
