FIELD: atomizing equipment for fine fuel injection. SUBSTANCE: atomizer for electric arc furnace comprises main outlet orifice located in atomizer body part, auxiliary fuel outlet orifices located upstream relative to main outlet orifice concentrically to body axis. Body has inner chamber for fuel input and mixing with oxidizer. Accelerator is installed into chamber for accelerating of fuel-oxidizer mixture in main outlet orifice direction for fuel combustion. Atomizer has outlet device for discharging of fine material suspended in secondary oxidizer into accelerated fuel-oxidizer mixture just beyond accelerator. Accelerator has channel for receiving of fuel-primary oxidizer mixture with converging-diverging cross-section in flow direction. Accelerator has Laval nozzle located coaxial with body axis and having outlet arranged coaxially with body axis. Laval nozzle outlet shape provides discharging of fine material suspended in oxidizer in parallels to body axis. Laval nozzle outlet is formed as ring located around accelerator and fine material is discharged as hollow cylindrical or conical jet. Laval nozzle outlet is coaxial to body. Accelerator is located concentrically to Laval nozzle outlet. Accelerator has ring-shaped outlet arranged around Laval nozzle outlet. Laval nozzle outlet structure is free from interfering into fine material flow and imparts acceleration to fine material suspended in oxidizer. Atomizer has independent regulating means for fuel, oxidizer and fine material feeding into atomizer and through thereof.
