FIELD: ammunition, mainly noiseless cartridges of combat and sporting small arms. SUBSTANCE: the cartridge has a case, propelled element, sabot-obturator, propellant charge, primer cap, device for axial fixation of the primer and a plug with priming holes. The primer seat is made directly in the bottom of the cartridge case for mounting of the primer on the side of the neck of the case and fitting on the ring stop (shoulder). The plug is installed in the primer seat and fully positioned between the primer and the bottom of the sabot-obturator. The primer is positioned fully between the plug and the mentioned ring shoulder. The priming holes may be made on the periphery of the plug, and the plug proper is provided with a pivotal developed part. The diameter of the latter is less than the diameter of the primer seat, and the end face is engageable with the bottom of the sabot-obturator. The priming holes may be made in the form of slots. EFFECT: enhanced reliability of the axial fixation (load-carrying capacity) of the primer body to prevent its pressing-off after extraction of the empty case in the conditions of presence of residual pressure of the combustion products of the propellant and primer charges in the cartridge. 3 cl, 3 dwg
