FIELD: medicine, laboratory diagnostics. SUBSTANCE: one should carry out blood sampling, apply it as a drop onto a slide, form a smear and fix it on the slide, dye the smear with dye-stuff, wash the smear from excessive amount of dye-stuff, conduct air drying followed by studying the blood due to optic microscopy at immersion, moreover, blood should be precentrifuged, 6- 10 mcl blood plasma and 3-5 mcl concentrated residue bottoms are taken, smear is formed with the help of a glass the width of which is 2 times narrower than a slide, smear is observed in transmitted light and at detecting endoglobular cherry-lilac-colored inclusions in orange-colored erythrocytes it is possible to diagnose hemoparasitic disease. Moreover smear's dyeing is performed with dye-stuff prepared upon water at pH = 5.0, and smear is washed with distilled water for 15-20 min to remove excessive dye-stuff, the search for erythrocytes affected with hemoparasitic infections is carried out from the beginning of the smear by observing it further along its superior and inferior edges.
