FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: in addition to known method of detection and tracking of object based on adaptive scan of controlled space by radar energy in frequency range of external radio electronic means operating in controlled space is received, angular coordinates βii of direction in which received energy of radio electronic means exceeds threshold level are found, radiation energy of radar in this direction is increased on condition that object is not detected by radar, object is detected and its trajectory is found by means of radar and object is tracked. Object is tracked by angular coordinates βjj, measured at time moment tj on basis of reception of energy of radio electronic means with the help of data on coordinates obtained with the aid of radar at moment nearest to moment tj;. Coordinates of object are determined more accurately by means of radar in process of tracking if measured angular coordinates of object deviate from extrapolated coordinates above permissible value. With this in mind threshold level is raised in direction with angular coordinates βii, if object in direction with angular coordinates βii, is not detected by increased radiation energy of radar.
