TECHNIQUE OF RADAR TRACKING OF OBJECT Russian patent published in 2002 - IPC

FIELD: radiolocation. SUBSTANCE: technique can be used in perspective radars controlling air traffic and monitoring air space. Technique of radar tracking of object is based on inspection of air space limited by angular tracking gate with the help of radar, on making coordinates of object more precise, on their extrapolation, on assignment of new gate. In addition radiation level in frequency range of radio electronic facilities which can irradiate object or be radiated from it is measured in this space. When radiation with level exceeding threshold is detected in direction with angular coordinates β_iε_i radar energy consumption is limited by volume sufficient to make range to object or its speed more precise. Values β_iε_i are taken as angular coordinates of object. EFFECT: diminished energy consumption by radar tracking object.
