FIELD: apiculture. SUBSTANCE: method involves first stage including introducing liquid wax into form defined by set of projections joined with honeycomb cells; forming base part of semi-comb and cooling for removal of semi-comb from form; second stage including connecting two semi-combs by positioning thereof in side-by-side relation for forming single honeycomb with cells extending in opposite directions. Apparatus has two continuous belts arranged in parallel with one another, with space between belts exceeding height of semi-comb. One of belts carries form defined by plurality of rows of silicone projections joined with semi-comb cells. Belts are arranged for movement at equal speeds in the same direction. Device for removal of formed and hardened semi-comb is positioned at the end of zone through which belts are extending. EFFECT: increased efficiency and reduced semi-comb production costs. 13 cl, 15 dwg
