FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method involves forging end piece, its heat quenching, removing fin, sharpening blade profile, electrochemical polishing, piercing opening for introduced suture thread, fixing the thread and bending the end piece. Bending of the end piece is carried out before fixing the thread in the end piece. Additional heat treatment is carried out after having bent the end piece for relieving induced intrastructural stress in metal and maximum increase of elastic properties. EFFECT: stable elastic properties of needle end.
